RUD ROV hook


Developed for use with Work-Class ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles), which is used to build subsea structures in deep seas, for example. ROVs have two functional arms that can be used to pull, push and rotate, and even operate tools. Different grippers can be connected to the arms for this purpose.

The ROV-HOOK, developed by RUD, has the following outstanding features:

  • 100% crack tested
  • Simple mechanical safety locking mechanism, patent pending 
  • Outward opening safety latch that closes automatically 
  • All common grippers can be used
  • Special robust design for subsea use

  • Can also be equipped with a wire rope
